Important examination instructions for CDS 1 2021

 

With the release of the e-Admit Cards, UPSC also releases certain examination instructions that are to be followed strictly by the candidates. Candidates generally ignore the instructions and may face trouble while appearing for the examination. This article highlights the important examination instructions for CDS 1 2021. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully at least once.

  • If there is any discrepancy or error in your e-Admit Card, immediately contact UPSC.

  • In the examination hall, you have to carry a clear print-out of e-Admit card.

  • Candidates must carry the same photo ID card to the examination hall that is mentioned in the e-Admit Card. For example, if you had uploaded your AADHAR card in the registration form then you have to carry the same original ID to the examination hall.

  • Candidates should preserve another copy of e-Admit Card till the declaration of final results because the same has to be presented in the SSB interview.

  • Fill the details in the OMR sheet very carefully. Especially your roll number. Any mistake made there can reject your answer sheet.

  • Make sure that you reach the examination centre at least 30 mins before the scheduled time. Entry to the examination hall is closed before 10 mins of the examination.

  • Make sure you appear at the correct sub-centre. At times, there are more than one sub-centres within the same centre.

  • The rules of examination can be read on the poster outside your examination hall.

  • Mobile Phones, Calculators, Digital Watches, Bluetooth fitness bands etc. IT gadgets are not allowed.

  • Make sure you carry two black pens with you.

  • Don’t carry too much cash or any valuable item with you. The safety of your items is not assured by the examination centre authorities.

  • If you are an OTA candidate only but still you appear for the Elementary Mathematics paper then your answer key for this paper will not be evaluated.

  • You must carry face masks, Hand sanitiser in transparent bottle.

  • Follow the ‘Social Distancing’ and ‘Personal Hygiene’ norms inside the examination hall.
