New age Anti Radiation Missile (RUDRAM) was effectively Flight tried today onto a radiation target situated on Wheeler Island off the shore of Odisha. The rocket was dispatched from SU-30 MKI contender airplane. 

The RUDRAM is the first indigenous enemy of radiation rocket of the nation for Indian Air Force (IAF), being created by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). The rocket is coordinated on SU-30 MKI contender airplane as the dispatch stage, having a capacity of shifting extents dependent on dispatch conditions. It has INS-GPS route with Passive Homing Head for the last assault. The RUDRAM hit the radiation focus with pin-point precision. 

The Passive Homing Head can identify, group and draw in focuses over a wide band of frequencies as customized. The rocket is an intense weapon for IAF for Suppression of Enemy Air Defense viably from huge deadlock ranges.
