CDS 2 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- Indian Military Academy: Graduation Degree
- Indian naval Academy: B.E/B.Tech (10+2 with Physics & Maths)
- Air Force Academy: Graduation, B.E/B.Tech (10+2 with Physics &Maths)
- Officers training Academy (Men): Graduation Degree
- Officers training Academy(Women): Graduation Degree
Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status
- For Indian Military Academy (IMA), unmarried candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2002.
- For Indian Naval Academy (IMA), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2002.
- Candidates applying for Air Force Academy should be between 20 to 24 years as on July 1, 2021 (born not earlier than July 2, 1997, and not later than July 1, 2001).
- For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 1, 1996, and not later than July 1, 2002, are eligible for the exam.
- For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course), candidates should be unmarried and born not earlier than July 1, 1996, and not later than July 1, 2002.

Candidates on successful completion of the training would be commissioned as an Indian Army officer to a rank of Lieutenant in the Pay matrix of the Officer commissioned shall be fixed in first Cell of Level 10 and the period of training shall not be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances, as applicable, for the training period shall be paid to cadets
