Indian Air Force inducts another batch of Young Leaders at the Combined Graduation Parade held at Air Force Academy

Indian Air Force inducts another batch of Young Leaders: In an impressive Combined Graduation Parade (CGP), 123 flight cadets were commissioned into the IAF by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on 20 Jun 20, Air Force Academy, Dundigal. Wings were also awarded to 11 officers from the Indian Navy & the Indian Coast Guard on successful completion of flying training.

Fg Offr Anurag Nain was awarded the President’s Plaque & CAS Sword of Honour for standing first in order of merit in Flying branch while
Fg Offr Aanchal Gangwal was awarded the President's Plaque for standing first in Ground Duty branches. Two flight cadets from Vietnam People's Air Defence & Air Force also received their wings on the occasion. 
Addressing the parade, the CAS commenced by paying tributes to the brave men of Indian Army for their supreme sacrifice while defending the LAC in the Galwan Valley.

The Chief of Air Staff congratulated the newly commissioned officers & award winners while thanking their parents for the support they gave to their wards in their decision to join the Indian Air Force.

He reminded the graduating officers that the prevailing security scenario mandates that the Armed Forces remain prepared & vigilant at all times. He highlighted that development on the LAC in Ladakh was a small snapshot of what the Armed Force are required to handle at a short notice.

The CAS emphasised on the spirit of jointness & asked the graduating officers to don this mantle -as proudly as they would don their blue uniforms.

The CAS concluded by reminding the graduating officers that the solemn oath taken by them should be their guiding principle while they execute their duties & responsibilities.
