The supply of the  defence equipment to Armenia has already begun under the 'Make in India' initiative. According to the reports Armenia had conducted various trials of the systems offered by Russia and Poland. Even though the Russian and Polish systems were good, Armenia decided to go ahead with the reliability of the Indian system.

India is required to supply four Swathi weapons-locating radars under this $40 Million contract. The radars provide fast, automatic, and accurate location of enemy weapons like mortars, shells, and rockets in its 50-km range. Swathi weapons-locating radars can also simultaneously handle multiple projectiles fired from different weapons at different locations.
