India to finalise long pending defence deal with United States with President Trump's visit

India to finalise long pending defence deal with United States with President Trump's visit: India will be finalizing the long-pending defence deal with United-States during President Donald Trump two day visit to India. He would be on a official visit to India from 24 February. 


President Donald Trump will arrive in India on his maiden visit, accompanied by first lady Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka Trump, Senior Advisor to the President of US Mr. Jared Kushner, along with United States Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross and Secretary of Energy Dan Brouille.

India and United States are separately working on a limited trade agreement ahead of the President Trump's trip, after earlier imposing tit-for-tat tarrifs on each other's imports.

On Tuesday President Trump will meet with executive of Indian Companies regarding business interests. The comapnies expected to be represented at meeting include Indian Oil and Gas comapny Reliance Industries, Tata Sons, Bharat Forge, Mahindra and Mahindra.

 When President Donald Trump was asled about the speculation of visiting Pakistan and Afghanistan or any other country in the South Asia region, the official said that POTUS "Stands alone India-visit only. News Source(ANI)
