NDA 1 2020 Notification Out: Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for eligible candidates to apply for NDA written exam. UPSC conducts this exam twice every year to select desirable candidates for admission in the elite National Defence Academy which is located at Khadakwasla, Pune. This year NDA 1 written examination will be conducted by the UPSC on 19th April 2020 for admission to the Indian Army,  Indian Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 145th Course, and for the 107th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The approx number of vacancies for this examination are as follows:


National Defence Academy: 370 to include 208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 120 for Air (including 28 for Ground Duties) Naval Academy : 48 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) 


Total Vacancies: 418

NDA 1 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications required for Army Wing of National Defence Academy: Candidate shall be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Educational Qualifications required for Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian 6 Naval Academy: Candidate shall be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. 

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2004 are eligible.

NDA 1 2020 Application Fees:
Applicants are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.  

Note: SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from payment of fee)
