AFCAT 2 2019 Exam Cancelled in Srinagar

Indian Air Force recruiting authorities will be conducting AFCAT 2 2019 on 24 and 25 August for flying and  ground duty officers selection (both technical and non-technical). AFCAT 2 exam has been rescheduled in Srinagar due to some security reasons. Fresh dates of the exam shall be notified later. We will update the new dates of the AFCAT exam as soon as it would be published by the Air Force authorities.

AFCAT 2 2019 Exam Pattern


AFCAT Exam (Multiple Choice Questions)
Time Duration: 2 hrs
No. of questions- 100
Max marks- 300
SubjectsVerbal ability, Numerical ability, Reasoning, General Awareness and Military Aptitude.
There is a negative marking 1/3 in all sections.
Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) would be for 45 minutes and conducted immediately after AFCAT.
No. of questions- 50
Max marks- 150
Note: Candidates who are opting for Ground Duty (technical) branch have to pass both AFCAT & EKT.

Training:
  • Air Force training is scheduled to commence in the first week of July 2020 for all courses. The approximate duration of training for Flying and Ground Duty (Technical) Branches is 74 weeks and that of Ground Duty (Non-technical) Branches is 52 weeks at Air Force Training Establishments.
  • Documents including PAN Card, Aadhaar card and account in SBI/ Nationalised Bank is mandatory at the time of joining Air Force Academy (AFA).

Application Fee:
Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- as examination fee.
