Esprit de Corps: The Mahar Regiment



The spirit of a body is the essence of the term Esprit de Corps. It's a feeling of pride and mutual loyalty shared by the members of a group. The troops with a higher Esprit de Corps are motivated, full of Josh and more often than not victorious under any circumstance. Following are the snapshots of this mighty regiment.

Insignia: A pair of crossed Vickers MMG (Medium Machine Gun), mounted on a tripod with a dagger. The dagger was initially the Pillar of Koregaon, where the combined British and Mahar troops defeated the overwhelming Peshwa Army. The pillar was subsequently removed and was replaced with a Dagger.
Regimental Colours: Crimson and Gold.
