Discrepancy in NDA exam: Formation of SIT by the Government

       

The National Defense Academy (NDA) organized by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Sunday has witnessed massive rigging in the entrance examination. On the initiative of the commission, Patna Regional Inspector General (IG) Nayyar Hasan Khan Khan has constituted a 12-member Special Investigating Team (SIT). It includes two SPs, three DSPs, four inspectors, and three sub-inspectors. Central Railway Police Inspector Rajesh Kumar has been ordered to review the progress of the case. 

According to the news published in Jagran on 12th September 2018, the incident is of A N COLLEGE, PATNA when the invigilator caught one of the candidates cheating during the second shift of the examination. The examiner immediately handed him over to the police, SK Puri police station. When the police searched his mobile, he got a number in it, through which he was getting answers to questions through WTSAP. In the investigation, it was discovered that the number was used by Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). SIM card also got registered with the name of a student of JNU.
